Who Am I?

Work Experience
2020
I served as the Deputy Communications Director for Abby Broyles, who ran for U.S. Senate in Oklahoma. I tenaciously worked to garner positive media coverage for her, both locally and nationally. I booked her on CNN before she won her primary election. I served as spokesperson, wrote all press releases, and managed all social media accounts.
2017-2020
As a Team Leader in the Hobby Lobby Art/Creative Department, I led teams of up to 15 creatives including Coordinators, Stylists, Photographers, Photo Editors, and Video Production Team to create branded, attainable content for social media, online retail sites, and both internal and external publications.
2014-2017
At Ackerman McQueen, I told stories for the Chickasaw Nation's tribally focused Programs & Services in my role of Video Producer. During that time, I booked and conducted interviews, wrote scripts, and worked with a team on edits. I also collaborated on ideas for larger series and executed the production of those pieces.
2007-2014
I started at Griffin Communications at the News on 6 in Tulsa as an intern. That internship turned into an Associate Producer role before I came home to Oklahoma City and joined News 9. I started as an Associate Producer before working on a variety of shows before I became the producer of the 4PM show. During my time at News 9, I led the coverage of the devastating 2013 tornadoes & produced their first ever HD Broadcast.

I graduated with a Broadcast Journalism degree & a minor in Spanish. But my experiences have taken me far beyond where I started.
